SAN MARCOS, Texas - Being one of the top students in his
class, Micah Cavender searches for something more than just “success” in life.
At age 22, Cavender has now been attending Texas State University for a near
four years and is set to graduate Spring of 2020 with an Electronic Media
degree in hand. Upon graduation, he sees himself traveling around the United
States, practically California to record every sight possible and chase his
dreams. In the meantime, he spends the majority of his time working for KTSW as
a sports recorder throughout the university and the events that take place on
campus. Needless to say how extraordinary his works are considering his young
age!
In addition to his love for
recording, Micah also enjoys the art of performance and takes charge of the
stage ahead of him. He is a major advocate for theatre and with that, he finds
it rewarding to teach children different techniques to excel in their passion.
Not only is he a personal teacher but a tech-assistant on the side for a local
theatre in San Antonio! Cavender has a lot ahead of him, and with that he
understands he can conquer anything he sets his mind too; Success!
